@Regrann from @bur_rabbit – from My sister and Husband And Brave Histio Warriors!!! @country_mama1 and @harrywallace39 ” September is Histiocytosis Awareness Month.
Histiocytosis is a name for A Rare Cancer, it is characterized by an abnormal increase and accumulation of certain immune cells known as histiocytes. A histiocyte is a type of white blood cell which can be found in the skin, lungs, liver, spleen, lymph glands, bone marrow and blood stream. These cells nomally helps to protect the body against infection; however, in patients suffering from histiocytic disorders, histiocytes become activated, increase quickly in number and cluster together in the form Cancerous lesions or tumors that damage the body rather than protect it, by
Eating away bones and/or Organs.
Because these disorders are so rare, histiocytosis is often referred to as an “orphan disease” and receives little or no research funding from the federal government. Will you help fund a cure?
Thank you for your time and help throughout this journey.
Love and hugs Always,
