On our way back from the North we quit the highway for a break. As I had never visited Göttingen, I was happy to spend some time in this beautiful city. You can judge by the pics that the city center is quite well preserved with a lot of beautiful ancient buildings.

Anothe angle of view

I continue to explore unknown angles of La Defense. As I said in another post, either people remain around the building where they work either they roam in between la Grande Arche and the fountains on the other side of the Parvis. However, there are so many places to go and discover new buildings and restaurants…

I took this photo from the office where I currently work. Isn’t it totally stunning to see this man high above the ground without any protection. He looks totally relaxed.

Afternoon in Paris

Another rainy day … May and no sunshine or warmth in sight! I looked up Google and it says that icy rain can come until may 15th. I was so shocked …. Wtf ! Hubby offered a lovely afternoon in Paris. We bought the paint for the bathroom and a nice fluffy rug to put in front of the shower.

After shopping and putting our things in the car, we went for a walk. We had Polish Borat and Apfelstrudel. Sorry …. No pics. I was so hungry… Borat is a stuffed puff pastry with sheep cheese. Apfelstrudel is apple pie.

And when we passed in front of a Portuguese bakery Comme à Lisbonne, we just had to taste their Denata. Another puff pastry with vanilla cream.

New walk through Paris

Yesterday I had a meeting near the Bibliotheque Francois Mitterrand. As I finished early in the afternoon and weather was really nice, I decided to walk on the Seine  docks up to the Louvre.

I thought you might appreciate discovering another view of Paris again.
